It apparently just flew SW over the lake due to harassment from crows. Will keep you updated when I hear reports. Seems like it's hanging out in the area though.

Hi all,
Local birder Daniel Bancroft just alerted me that he's
currently looking at the Mosquito Lake Snowy Owl, which has
relocated to the causeway (Rt. 88)! It is at the east end of
the south parkinglot (pull-off) in the grass near the stop
sign. Unfortunately every car the leaves this one way pull
off will have to drive right by it so who knows how long it
will remain.
