Seen at The Dawes Arboretum Friday, January 12, during FeederWatch, Harris' Sparrow. Address is 7770 Jacksontown Road, Newark. (State Route 13, north of I-70.) Visitors are welcome during regular open hours: Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays: noon to 5 p.m. The Harris' Sparrow appeared briefly a little after 10:00 in the Bird Garden, which can be viewed from the windows in the downstairs area of the main Visitors' Center. It reappeared a little after 11:00. Harrison Ponn was able to find it in the area of the parking lot at the Visitors' Center, hanging with White-crowned and Song Sparrows and a couple of Eastern Towhees.
