Went to Glacier Ridge today and saw a few soras, a Virginia rail, a
flicker, a great egret, swallow, mallards, grebes, one song sparrow, and
a least bittern, which was a life bird. I also saw one solitary
sandpiper and a few killdeer. All in all, not too bad for a quick visit
close to noon!
