Hi -
Just had my personal FOY sighting of a Turkey Vulture moments ago.
A single bird was gliding due west and passed over the office at Kitty
Todd before disappearing in the horizon. Not too surprising for the
latter half of February I suppose, except that it feels like the
beginning of January right now...
Not much else to report. A pair of Eastern Bluebirds briefly
checked a nesting box near the office this morning, but I think finding
invertebrate remains was their motivation.
Good birding,
James Cole
Lucas County
