Here in southeast Ohio, the American Crows have decided that it really is
spring - this weekend one was collecting a beak full of green mossy-looking
plants for lining its nest. It gave us our first confirmed breeding of the
season - unfortunately it is a species we confirmed in the same block last
year. Sigh.
Now if I could only find some of those Red-tailed Hawk nests in my blocks.
