After reading Peggy Wang's post yesterday we decided to take a run into licking County for the Lapland Longspurs and Snow Buntings. First off, Peggy's post reads Tapp Road. That should read Tagg Road. That said, I appreciate Peggy's post as Linda and I were treated to a show this afternoon. We lost count of the Lnpland Longspurs sometime after 120 as they were continually moving about. They approached to within under 10 feet of the car. Although we only counted about 20 to 25 Snow Buntings, the looks we got were great as they too approached very close to the car. Horn Larks were about, but had to take a back seat. Then a group of Eastern Meadowlarks landed in front of the car.  We just sat there and savored the show. Again, thanks Peggy for putting us onto the site.
