Sorry for the delay in getting this out, I was busy last night.
Saturday was pretty good. There were good numbers of gulls and ducks as
well as good variety. both. Best birds were single surf and
white-winged scoters and little and lesser black-backed gulls.
Location- Lakeshore Reservation, North Perry, Lake County
Date- March 31, 2007, Time- 7:00-9:30
Weather- Cloudy, Winds- NNE 5-10
Temperature- 39-43 F, Barometer- 30.19-30.20
Humidity- 74-70, Dew point- 32-34
Waves- 1-2 ft increasing to 2-4 ft, Flight direction- east
Canada Goose 7
Lesser scaup 2
SURF SCOTER 1
WHITE-WINGED SCOTER 1
Common goldeneye 9
Common merganser 9
Red-breasted merganser 2,548
Common loon 1
Horned grebe 5
LITTLE GULL 1 immature
