I spent about an hour this morning looking for the Surf Scoter and Greater White-fronted Geese this morning. There were lots of waterfowl, but I didn't see any members of these two species. Granted, it was cloudy and my scope isn't the best, so the scoter could be out there somewhere; there weren't many geese, so I'm confident that the GWFG weren't present.

Also of note, a Sheriff stopped and told me that I was not allowed to scope from my car even pulled off to the side of the very lightly used road, so that's something to keep in mind if you're visiting.
