I did a lake watch at Lake Erie Bluffs in Lake County for a couple hours. There was a nice movement of large gulls heading west. Most were probably heading toward the landfill just southwest of the park. Of note was an adult Iceland gull and a couple lesser black-backed gulls.
Waterfowl numbers were fairly low with mergansers heading west close to shore and flocks of scaup heading east. One group of 64 tundra swans was also seen.
