Spent a day out birding with my dad Neill Cade and we had several nice
birds to report. Caesar Creek highlights:
Harveysburg Rd ramp- 1 juvenile Red-throated Loon & 2 Tundra Swans, 6
Horned Grebes, 12 Hooded Mergansers
Visitor Center Overlook- 1 Bald Eagle
Campground ramp- 2 Redheads, 20 Bufflehead, 30 Lesser Scaup
Spring Valley: 1 Marsh Wren (heard first then seen briefly), 1 Winter Wren,
1 Hermit Thrush, 1 Gray Catbird (late), 1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet (late), lots
of hunting so only Coot were present on the lake
Great day of birding!
