Went to Columbus today , observed many birds all the way there.
Started out seeing sandhill cranes around Indian lake , all total 5 flocks , I would say over 500 total, high, flying northest. Next birds were the turkey vultures- 23 . Redtail hawks -19. Crows -27. and one blue heron. At green lawn cemetary seen the Great Horned owl. She looked real comfy there. Was a great day . Russell Lima, Ohio
