Hey folks,
I had a shrike sp. (assuming Northern... I was moving at 70 mph) this
morning and afternoon along I-70 in Franklin County this morning, and then
again this afternoon. I first had a bird in flight north of the highway
near mile marker 89 where Jones Road crosses I-70, at about 10:45 AM.
Returning around 3:30 PM, I had what I am assuming was the same bird in a
treetop, again just north of the interstate, roughly one mile east of this
location, about 150 yards east of where Alton Darby Creek Road crosses I-70.
Both of these birds would have been viewable from the two roads crossing
70.
Good birding!
