The lake finally opened up a bit and it actually was not snowing, so I was
able to do a survey. There moderate numbers of ducks and gulls with the
ducks being mostly mergansers. Nothing of note with the ducks or gulls, but
a common loon was interesting. It was observed flying south overhead. It
headed inland like it knew it wanted to get out of here fast.
