Woodside green (afternoon birding ... I love titmouses; they were alarming
in a small tree about 15 feet from the trail. Their mobbing calls
attracted 5 species of warblers and the philadelphia vireo along with
chickadees, nuthatches, and red bellied and downy woodpeckers; all flying
around the tree and adjacent grape vine for a couple of minutes. Never did
see what the mobbing was for.
