While it is not uncommon to see House Sparrows living in big buildings, today I saw what I am pretty
sure is a female American Redstart in the C Concourse of Hopkins International Airport (near Gate
C27 - around the small food court). It appeared to be hunting insects on the windows, but it did not
appear to be having any luck. This bird is obviously trapped and nervous in this setting. If anyone is
interested in the series of photos i took, please email: two photos are attached. It would be
wonderful if this bird was somehow captured and released, but it will need to get past Homeland
security.
