I took a hike around the back 40 here in Poland Twp. (Mahoning Co.) this morning, and found a few birds of interest: Cooper's hawk, belted kingfisher, n. flicker, 4 golden-crowned kinglets, e. bluebird, 20 Am. robins, 3 cedar waxwings, 3 yellow-rumped warblers, 4 chipping sparrows, song sparrow, and the first local dark-eyed junco.  Nothing too exciting, but it was more exciting than watching the horrible offensive show put on during the Browns-Seahawks game this afternoon!!  Craig Holt, Lowellville
