Migration was somewhat muted around this reservoir north of Columbus, with
scattered landbird migrants and loads of boaters keeping down the
waterfowl.  I stopped at New Galena boat launch, the Beach & Visitors
Center, Berlin Station access, and Cheshire causeway 7 boat launch.
included in the list were:

waterbirds - little unusual other than a few Pied-billed Grebes at both New
Galena and Cheshire

raptors - adult Bald Eagle and Cooper's Hawk were at New Galena

gulls - 340 Ring-bills on the beach, but only found 3 Herring with them

Flycatchers - nothing other than a few E.Phoebes

Vireos - none found

BlueJays - no big movement yet, with scattered flocks at New Galena and the
Visitors Center, totaling around 60 birds.  Smaller groups were at the
other two sites up-lake.

Wrens - single Winter Wrens were at New Galena and the Visitors Center,
while 2 House Wrens were at the latter site

Kinglets - not many, but both species were at both New Galena and the
Visitors Center

Thrushes - a single Swainsons was at New Galena, where Robins were abundant
(60+)

Warblers - not many, but did have an Orange-crowned north of the Visitors
Center.  Also had N.Parula, Black-thr.Blue, Black-thr.Green, Yellow-rumped,
Palm. ComYellowthroat

Sparrows - small groups of Chippings, Fields, White-throateds, and Songs at
several spots.  Also had a Swamp Sparrow at the Visitors Center.

Blackbirds - flocks of Redwings at several spots, along with a long
meandering flock of 500+ Common Grackles moving through the Visitors Center
area.  There were also 5 Cowbirds there.
