[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 1 Feb 2011 02:18:33 -0500442_UTF-8 I made quick loop through several areas around this reservoir in southern Delaware County yesterday, including the Home Rd Bridge, Traphagen Preserve, Twin Lakes Park, and the dam area. The reservoir is solidly frozen over; only the spillway has open water, and it was infested with mallards. Geese & herons were fewer since I wasn't there early in the morning. Just a quick note, there are currently 26 sandhill cranes feeding in a corn field just north of charlies pond. To get there, take radcliffe rd west (just south of circleville) to the dead end and turn right on river rd. The birds are just north of the wet swale.
