With an evening meeting in Dublin, I stopped at Kozcuiscko Park and Kiwanis
Park, and had typical late temperate migrants at each, including
kinglets,yellow-rumped warblers, blackbirds, waxwings, and sparrows. The
best birds, however, were raptors:

Merlin - a fly-by at Kozcuiscko, headed south. Should probably be looked
for anywhere here since there are now many feeders in the surrounding
neighborhoods.

Screech Owl - the one reported at Kiwanis is still there, roosting in the
snag about 25 yards down the trail on the right. Since it was evening, the
bird was open-eyed and looking around, perhaps eyeing its next meal.
