Two days ago I encountered two Bluebirds - a male and a female at Silvercreek Park in the southwestern corner of Medina County. They were just east of the lake near two birdhouses that I believe were placed there by the park service specifically for the Bluebirds. I am a bit new to bird watching but Silvercreek seems like a bird watcher's paradise with the varied terrain - several ponds, open fields, lake, and dense woods. Always a variety of waterfowl, hawks, and songbirds.
