Today I found 2 singing grasshopper sparrows on Medford Road just east of Mangen Road in northern Darke Co. They were in pheasant forever land.
Yesterday, Saturday at Longtown which has a flooded field beside the church's parking lot on the corner of Stingley and Hollansburg- tampico Road in western Darke Co.
I saw these shorebirds:
spotted sand.
solitary sand.
lesser yellowlegs
short billed dowitcher
least sand .
semi-palmated sand.
pectoral sand.
killdeer
mo. doves
Last weekend, Steve Miller identified 2 stilt sandpipers
Also on Ohio Street in Greenville across from Greenville youth baseball diamonds:

solitary sand.
