What appeared to be a female or immature Surf Scoter was present this
morning on Hargus Lake, at A.W. Marion State Park, east of Circleville. It
was located off of the dam. I was armed only with binoculars today, so I
couldn't rule out White-winged, although the wings appeared all dark when it
flapped once.
Happy Birding!
