Blendon Woods is located in the northeast corner of Columbus off of
I270 & Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle Way exit. Last night we had a
Woodcock Program at Cherry Ridge Area. It is a good place to view the
woodcock flight because the sky is lighted by downtown Columbus. We had
at least 15 flights by 3 different woodcocks. Twice one of the woodcocks
landed within 12 yards of me. The 1st time it was light enough to see
it's eyeball as it said "Peent" many times. Also below is a list of some
of the birds seen lately at Blendon Woods Metro Park
