Unfortunately it turned out to be a crappy day with rain or drizzle the whole time I was there, so birding was limited. The water level is finally being let down there, and mudflats are beginning to appear at the north end near Pancoastburg. I was not automatically added and have been struggling to get back on the
list. Will see if I am now.

I have been going thru the archives and have seen the static on "tests".
However, I feel obliged to make one because.....
I had been waiting since Friday for the new list. Finally, I did some
sending and found I had been transferred over. Something must have
happened to my address. I subscruved (I think) and want to be sure I am
able to post or if I have to do something more, like a password(?).
