The Merlin has returned to Greenlawn Memorial Park on Romig Road in Akron. At 11:05 AM and for several minutes after I first saw it, it was perched at the top of its favorite conifer with the bare-branched crown in section D, across the roadway east of but close to the flagpole that is in Section G. There is a lady near the tree photographing grave markers so the Merlin has now left that perch, but if it maintains its previous seasonal pattern it should remain at the cemetery into March. It also likes to perch on various power stanchions that cut through the cemetery.I will add photos to my eBird report this afternoon.Kathy MockBarberton"It's strange how bird shadow forces you to look up sometimes when you're always looking down." - Robert Vallieres
