This afternoon, Susan Jones and I visited Station Road Bridge area in the
Cuyahoga Valley National Park, in hopes of finding the Bald Eagles nesting.
No such luck. Last year's nest looks untouched--so far.
On the positive side, we saw two Red-headed Woodpeckers, one an immature. In
addition we had:
Belted Kingfisher 1
Dark-eyed Junco 8
American Robin 6
Mourning Dove 6
Black-capped Chickadee 3
Canada Goose 19
Tufted Titmouse 1
Northern Cardinal 1
American Black Duck 1
American Crow 8
Carolina Wren 1
White-breasted Nuthatch 6
Red-bellied Woodpecker 2
Hairy Woodpecker 1
Red-shouldered Hawk 1
