Greetings!
Yesterday afternoon was my first chance to get out and add to the January 100 list since the 2nd, so I couldn't resist, especially since the weather was great and I have no classes on Wednesday, but...there is that grad school research stuff...anyway...
Made a quick run through Strouds Run State Park (Athens, Co.), along the trail, near Dow Lake. The best bird of the day and #71 for January, was a male, Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. Only ended-up with about 12 species, for the short time that I was out, but it was worth it to get out there.
More January Century updates when I get a chance!
Good birding,
Jason
