It was pretty good this morning with large numbers of red-breasted
mergansers and a nice variety of other ducks and gulls.There were several
good birds with 8 SANDHILL CRANES being the best. Other birds of note were
LITTLE GULL and LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL. I had my first Caspian terns of
the year. A single American coot was noteworthy as I rarely see them on the
open lake here.
