I birded the Chippewa Inlet Trail North late this morning looking for shorebirds. Although the water level is at an all-time low, there were only four species of Shorebirds present including three Baird's sandpipers. Killdeer, Least, and semi-palmated sandpipers were also present. A single Snowy Egret was in the southern portion of the wetland along with three Green Herons. Mallards, wood ducks, and Teal rounded out the waterfowl.
Good birding,
Chris
