I had a surprise visit this morning. My first impression was orange-crowned warbler, but it seemed a little big, as big or slightly larger than the carolina wren that hangs out here. And the beak seemed big, like a juveniles. And isn't it too early ? But no way was this bird as large as a tanager. Anyway, here are some photos, and I apologize for the large size as I'm struggling to get a new PC up to snuff and the software is a nightmare. http://www.raysrock.com/60D_06641_columbus_oh.jpg http://www.raysrock.com/60D_06650_columbus_oh.jpg http://www.raysrock.com/60D_06664_columbus_oh.jpg http://www.raysrock.com/60D_06675_columbus_oh.jpg http://www.raysrock.com/60D_06684_columbus_oh.jpg I look forward to any points of identification you may have.
