Other Merlin sightings: There was a Merlin at Alum Creek beach (Delaware
Co.) last Friday, and one here in Licking Co. at T. J. Evans Park yesterday
evening.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Merlin at Greenlawn Cemetery, Akron, Summit County

The Merlin has returned to its perch in the bare-topped conifer in Section G
at Greenlawn Cemetery on Romig Rd., just east of the cemetery flagpole! I
was sitting in the backyard this evening and a falcon flew over, headed that
direction. A few minutes later I got in my car, drove 3 miles and “met” him
there about 15 minutes after the initial sighting. I took photos at 6:52 pm,
so again it seems most likely to be found there in the evening.
