I had a chance to briefly check out the lake this morning before having to
head out. I watched from 7:30-8:45. I thought there might be some movement
ahead of the front. Not to be. It was extremely quiet. I saw one distant
duck that was too far out for identification and about 30 herring and
ring-billed gulls and that was about it.

I checked out Lorain Harbor this morning about 11:00 and then about 3:30.
Things there were also very quiet. There were a few hundred gulls and
cormorants out on the outer breakwalls. Not much flying around. Only birds
of note were 6 dunlin and an American pipit all west of the river.
